What makes this festival special?
Our comedy theatre is by the beach! It's a chance to do great shows, meet other funny people, catch some sun at the festival beach parties, and explore the great bars and restaurants of Atlantic Beach & Jacksonville Beach!
If that's not enough, here's an added perk for performers: EVERY show will be recorded with a professional 4-camera setup. We'll send you the Youtube link. You can use the footage for whatever you like! (ie. other festival submission or just sharing with friends!)
What's the plan?
3 nights, 5 comedy shows (maybe more!)
Improv, stand-up, and sketch.
*We may add shows on Saturday and Sunday, depending on the number of submissions.

*Important*
10pm shows can have "adults only" content.
All other acts should stay PG-13 or cleaner (no swearing or heavy innuendo).

How long is a performance slot at the festival?
Stand-up acts approx. 10 minutes.
Improv and sketch approx. 20 minutes.

Is there compensation for performing in the festival?
There is no payment for performing in the First Coast Comedy Festival, but there are other perks including:
- All acts will be recorded with a professional 4-camera setup and performers are welcome to keep and use the footage (Youtube link will be provided)
- Beach parties and other mingling and networking for performers!
- Gift bags!
Can performers watch every show?
Yes, but not necessarily in-person. Our theatre seats 70 people. We will send a private stream link so you can watch every show from a computer or mobile device. If there are any un-sold seats remaining in our theatre (and hopefully there aren't!), performers can have them on a first-come-first-served basis.
Hotels
We do not have an official festival hotel, but there are many great options near us, ranging from affordable to fancy.

The Best Western, The Candlewood, or the Holiday Inn Express are all inexpensive and walkable to the theatre.
**We do not recommend the Quality Inn**
If you want to be in or near beautiful downtown Neptune Beach, consider The Seahorse, Hotel Palms, Salt Air, or One Ocean.
